This is not your average gig. We're not just looking for someone to manage a few clients and attend client meetings. We want someone that can unlock magic within a company’s operation when no one else knows what to do and can negotiate and close deals that others can only dream of.
What does the job involve
- Architect and execute innovative strategies that help us build the largest network of auto part merchants and partners in Ghana.
- Lead high-level negotiations, exuding confidence and expertise that instills trust and secures deals.
- Develop our city expansion and go to market strategy within Nigeria and neighboring markets
- Close high level enterprise distribution deals and contracts
- Oversee marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and user acquisition
- Drive innovation in business processes and customer experience
- Work with attorneys to draft, negotiate and execute partnership agreements Local, regional and potentially international travel.
- Identify and evaluate new potential business opportunities across our business lines
- Develop new partnerships strategy and pipeline to diversify our multi-channel distribution network and maximize revenue growth
- Utilize data analytics to inform decision-making and strategy
- Work in partnership with other departments to generate, evaluate and test new innovative ideas that reinforce our market leadership and unlocks added value to its customers
- Anything else as required by your manager
Qualifications
- A proven winner with minimum 10 years experience in operations, sales or business development at a reputable multinational or growth stage startup redefining their industry.
- A globe-trotter who has navigated diverse markets and cultures, with a deep understanding of the nuances involved in international business.
- An exceptional communicator and coach.
- Astute analytical skills and ability to make sense or large data sets to drive decision making
- A visionary thinker, always a step ahead, anticipating market shifts and aligning strategies accordingly.
- Resilient, adaptable, and driven, leader with a relentless pursuit of excellence and an unwavering commitment to achieving the extraordinary.
- Bachelor's degree in business or other discipline from a reputable school
- Superior problem solving skills with an ability to see around corners and come up with unconventional solutions to the hardest problems
- A leader with experience leading turnarounds at companies
