What we are looking for

We are looking for a Telephony Engineer with expertise in SIP and VoIP technologies, an individual who is passionate about leveraging voice AI technology to improve accessibility and communication. Candidates with additional knowledge in SMPP (Short Message Peer-to-Peer) are a plus.

What does the job involve

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage SIP and VoIP communication systems to support our Voice AI services.
• Configure and maintain telephony servers such as Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, or Kamailio.
• Integrate telephony solutions with the Voice AI platform, ensuring optimal call routing and system performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in telephony systems.
• Ensure security and compliance with telecom standards.
• Document system setups and collaborate closely with the team.

Qualifications

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of SMPP and SMS gateways.
• Background in configuring and maintaining telephony servers (e.g., Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, Kamailio).
• Team-oriented with excellent collaboration skills

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience for those without a formal degree.
